        Hand made in the South Pacific islands this tapa cloth also known as masi cloth is made from the bark of the Mulberry tree.  The hand painted traditional geometric design would be made by using plant based dyes and earth ochre.  Many hours of skilled labour goes into making these unique pieces so would be used for special occasions
